Angelina Jolie achieves minor victory in winery lawsuit over Brad Pitt abuse
Angelina Jolie celebrated a minor win in her ongoing lawsuit with Brad Pitt after a judge ruled in her favour over the presentation of communication documents.
Angelina Jolie has scored a small victory over Brad Pitt in their Winery lawsuit.
The Hollywood star saw a judge rule on Monday that Pitt has to disclose documents that one of Jolie’s, Paul Murphy, has claimed will prove “communications concerning abuse, lie to authorities, and years of cover-up” by Pitt.
The documents include emails, texts, and other written communications, but will not contain anything between Pitt and his legal team or therapist.
Pitt’s legal team had tried to have the motion denied labeling the request as “wide-ranging and intrusive,” and a “sensationalist fishing expedition.”
Murphy has stated that the documents contain “crucial evidence” that Pitt “fought for years to hide.”
